Conditioning of Drinking and Potable Water
WHAT IS HEALTHY WATER?

What are the properties of the healthy drinking water?
• It must be odorless, colorless, clear and pleasant to drink.• It must not contain substances that give bad odor and taste to the water, such as phenols, oils, etc.
• It must not contain any disease-causing microorganisms.
• It must be soft sufficiently.
• It must not contain elements such as hydrogen sulfide, iron and manganese.
• Water must not contain any harmful chemicals.
The biofilm layer formed due to proliferation of the microorganisms in the drinking and potable water may spread through these systems and have a disease-causing effect. Control of biofilm layer, and lime and corrosion control in the drinking and potable water and the lines through which this water passes is very important for the quality of the drinking and potable water. Corrosion and lime formed in these systems cause increase of the concentration of the heavy metals in the water and thus deterioration of the quality of drinking and potable water. Furthermore, lime, corrosion and other impurities accumulated in the drinking and potable water pipelines increase the energy costs of enterprises, causing reduction of the pipe diameter and punctures in the pipes.
These are the chemicals used to disinfect the drinking and potable water and to prevent formation of lime and corrosion.
Application areas;
• A complete range of products for specific applications in all kinds of uses.• Prevention of reddish-brown water flow in faucets and shower heads.
• Reduction of the heavy metal concentration by reducing the corrosion products in the drinking water.
• Reduction of the heavy metal concentration by reducing the corrosion products in the drinking water.
• Special conditioning programs for hotels, plazas, hospitals and building complexes.
• The products used in municipalities and private industry that treat drinking water.
