Emulsion breaking validated by wastewater behavior.

BlancoWT® Emulsion Breaking programs are developed for oil/water emulsions and oily industrial wastewater where COD, suspended solids, turbidity, separated oil and downstream treatment performance must be managed through a controlled test-driven route.

Stable emulsions cannot be solved by label. They must be broken by evidence.

Product selection depends on water analysis, system design and operating conditions.

Analysis First

Water analysis before product recommendation.

TDS, SDS and certificates are shared upon request.

BlancoWT® is Liberta’s industrial wastewater and effluent treatment product family, developed for chemical plants, metalworking operations, food and beverage facilities, textile mills, metal processors and municipal pre-treatment systems. Oil/water emulsions are not all the same. In industrial wastewater, oil may appear as free oil, dispersed droplets or stable emulsified oil. The treatment route depends on how the oil is held in the water, how stable the emulsion is and which surfactants, additives, suspended solids and process contaminants are present. BlancoWT® Emulsion Breaking programs are positioned for industrial oily wastewater streams where visible oil separation, COD contribution, turbidity, suspended solids and downstream treatment load must be managed together. The objective is not to apply a generic oil remover, but to select a test-validated route that fits the wastewater behavior.

Correct emulsion-breaking selection depends on laboratory evaluation. The website should present this as a structured testing route rather than a generic product sale.

The oily wastewater sample, source process and operating conditions are reviewed before product selection.

Free oil, dispersed oil and emulsified oil behavior are observed because separation difficulty depends on oil-droplet form and stability.

Helps destabilize suitable oil/water emulsions so the oil and water phases can separate more effectively after controlled testing.

COD, TSS and turbidity load reduction support

May support reduction of oil-related COD, suspended solids and turbidity where the wastewater is responsive to emulsion breaking and polishing.

Evaluation of wastewater source, oil type, visual separation behavior, COD/TSS/turbidity load and treatment objective.

Screening of BlancoWT® emulsion-breaking routes under controlled dosing, mixing and separation conditions.

Assessment of whether coagulant/flocculant polishing is needed after the emulsion-breaking step.

Spent cutting fluids, coolant emulsions, oily wastewater and high-turbidity streams.

Oil, surfactants, additives, suspended metal fines and process-related emulsion stability.

Oily process wastewater, cleaning-line residues and metal processing effluents.
